Karragullen Expo October 2014

The 31st Annual Karragullen Horticultural Expo was the greatest ever. This year it included the first ever Australian Avacado Festival. Combining the two proved a great success as most of the equipment, machinery and horticultural supplies, are used by both industries. It was estimated to have been the largest crowd ever to attend. Congratulations must go to Bruno Del Simone, Roma Spiccia, Tom Price and the huge group of behind-the-scenes volunteers and workers for the massive effort put in so that this type of event runs so smoothly. Roma Spiccia works solidly for 12 months pior to the event happening, organising and chasing up exhibitors, sponsors and advertisers. The amount of time and effort Roma has put into these Expos over a number of years will be sadly missed as she moves on to a new challenge next year.
