Perth Hills Festival October 2019
The 2019 Perth Hills Festival was held on Saturday 12th October at the Karragullen Oval. The showery wet weather that persisted on the Friday, luckily did not carry over to Saturday. This fine sunny day meant a huge crowd attended this annual event. Many new machinery releases were on display for the hills orchard fruit growers to check and maybe purchase. The fruit tree stall was one of the most popular whilst others enjoyed chatting and reminising over the history of the area at the Pickering Brook Heritage Group’s stand and also Tom Price’s huge photographic display. First time exhibitor Save Buckingham Cottage Group created a lot of interest.

Highlights for the children was the playground and the aminal farm. Great pleasure and exciting was the order of the day, when feeding the animals.
Most people had a very enjoyable day and are now planning for their return visit next year.
