ANZAC DAWN SERVICE
25THApril 2024
It was a clear cold morning on the 25th April 2024 that the dedicated ANZAC supporters braved the cold weather and prepared the War Memorial for the Annual Dawn Service.
Sound systems were put in place, chairs moved into lines and wreaths arranged in order.
BBQs were set into action and the beginning of the Bacon and Egg roll was set in motion to be enjoyed after the Service.

Stephan Lamont our regular MC with his team of workers ran the service in a relaxed and formal matter paying respect to all who have served our Nation
Thank you to Lesley Borowitzka, visiting from Tasmania, who led the prayer at the commencement of the service.
The Head Boy and Head Girl from the Pickering Brook Primary School presented their poem in respect for the ANZACs.

He presented an emotional and telling speech of the reality of war and the honour of those who fought.
